THE BOOK

From the emerging rebelliousness of the 1960s to the debauched streets of Victorian Nottingham, four people seek to solve the conundrum of their collective former existence.

The Premise

During the nineteen-sixties, four people fatefully come together to investigate the provocative beliefs of an eccentric clairvoyant - the very four people he obsessively believes once existed together in Victorian Nottingham.

From what seems like a chance meeting, Arthur Campion enters the realms of hypnotic regression to join the search, coming to believe that he and his three companions are the present-day manifestations of four long-dead souls.

Michael Christopher is a retired company director, currently living by the coast in South Devon with his wife and soulmate of many years. They have two daughters, both of whom share the family's fondness for art and literature.

Michael's own love of storytelling began with Jonathan Swift's, Gulliver's Travels, thereafter, the likes of H.G. Wells, Dickens and Jules Verne - writers who stirred a young man to believe in the unbelievable.

Though a work of fiction, DISTURBING TIME was inspired by experiences and memories from Michael's formative years.
